The underarm is the quickest area we treat and, for a lot of people, the easiest place to start with laser hair removal. A small area, a short appointment, and a difference you notice daily.
At Oakville Flawless Cosmetic the underarm sits in our medium area tier: $100 for a single session, $450 for a course of five, or $700 for a course of eight, at the female rate.

A small area, a short appointment, and a low commitment.
If you have been curious about laser but are not ready to commit to legs or a full body course, the underarm is the sensible place to begin. It is one of the smallest zones we treat, which keeps the appointment and the price down, and almost everyone is already managing it week after week.
It is also a fair test of how your own hair and skin respond. You learn how the treatment feels and how your regrowth changes between visits, without committing to a large package first. Many people add the bikini line or legs later, already knowing what to expect.

Light, pigment, and the reason a course is needed.
Laser hair removal sends light energy into the skin, where the pigment in the hair follicle absorbs it. That energy becomes heat and damages the follicle, so across a course the hair that returns tends to be finer, sparser and slower.
A follicle can only be affected while the hair inside it is in its active growth phase, and at any moment only some of your underarm hair is. Spacing visits weeks apart is how a course catches the rest, which is why the price list is built around fives and eights.
Candidacy deserves a straight answer too. Laser responds best to dark hair on lighter skin, because dark hair holds the pigment the light targets. Blonde, red, grey and white hair generally respond less predictably. Treatment is carried out under the medical direction of Dr. Andrea Garcia, MD CCFP. Learn more about our team.

The underarm takes more irritation than almost anywhere else.
Few patches of skin get treated as roughly as the underarm. It is shaved often, usually with a blade past its best, then covered in antiperspirant and rubbed by clothing all day. Razor burn, ingrown hairs and a stubborn shadow under the skin are common, and they repeat weekly.
Waxing pulls hair from the root and buys more time, but the underarm is awkward for it. The skin is thin and folds on itself, hair often grows in several directions, and ingrowns are frequent. You also have to let hair grow out between appointments.
Laser works differently, reducing how much hair grows rather than cutting or pulling what is there. For many people the real benefit is to the skin: less irritation, fewer ingrowns, no planning around stubble. What it offers is permanent reduction, not permanent removal, and maintenance is generally needed.

Shave beforehand, skip the deodorant, and expect to be out quickly.
Most people describe the sensation as a quick warm snap, repeated rather than sustained. The underarm can feel more sensitive than an arm or leg because the skin is thin, but the small area keeps it brief. Expect flushed, warm skin for a few hours, like mild sunburn.
Leave deodorant off until that settles, usually by the next day, and skip hot showers, saunas and heavy workouts for around a day. If heavy underarm sweating is a separate concern, laser does not address it, but Botox for hyperhidrosis treats the same area. Full guidance is in our aftercare instructions.
Underarm Laser Hair Removal Pricing in Oakville
The underarm sits in our medium area tier. At the female rate, a single session is $100, a course of five is $450, and a course of eight is $700. Buying the course brings the cost per visit down, and since a course is what the treatment calls for, most people book that way.
Men are priced on a separate scale. The male medium area rate is $140 for a single session, $630 for five, or $980 for eight. The two lists are not interchangeable. Every area we treat is set out on our price list, and your provider confirms your total at consultation.
Still deciding? These are the questions we hear most.
If your question is not here, our team is happy to help. The clearest answers come from a consultation, where your provider looks at your hair and skin.
