Care is planned around your procedure and follows your surgeon’s instructions.

Anything that requires a physician order is carried out only on your surgeon’s instruction and within your care plan. Where something sits outside that plan, we will say so and direct it back to your surgical team.

Coming Home From Surgery Abroad

If you travelled for your procedure, the recovery still happens here.

Many patients travel outside Canada for cosmetic surgery, and most of the healing happens after they fly home. Drains often stay in for the first week or two, which regularly falls after the flight back. Overseas clinics generally offer follow up by video call, which is useful for reassurance and cannot change a dressing or check a wound in person.

We provide the in-person care for that gap. You do not need to have been our patient, and you do not need to have had surgery in Canada. Bring your discharge notes and your surgeon’s instructions, and we will work to them.
