Procedures We Support

Every procedure asks something different of your recovery. Here is how we help with each.

The Seamless Surgical Discharge and Safe Home Onboarding

4 hours

For lower intensity procedures such as liposuction of a single area, eyelid surgery or rhinoplasty, where you need a safe, clinical handover from the surgical centre to your home or hotel.

  • Receiving your surgeon’s post-op report at discharge, and travelling home with you in the transport you have booked
  • Monitoring your breathing, alertness and nausea as the anaesthesia wears off, to help keep you safe, and watching for signs of late onset lidocaine toxicity
  • Checking your surgical binder or compression garment gives support without restricting breathing or circulation
  • Settling you into bed or a recliner, with pillows and wedges placed to protect stitch lines and grafted areas
  • Baseline vital sign monitoring, steps to help prevent hypothermia, and a tracking log set up for your surgical drains
  • Collecting, cross checking and scheduling your prescriptions
  • Hands on training for your caregiver before your nurse leaves: drains, medications, safe bathroom transfers, and the warning signs, such as unusual swelling or bleeding, that mean calling your surgeon

The Concierge Care Kit

There is no need to race to the medical supply store before your surgery. Your nurse brings a fully stocked professional nursing kit to your bedside, including gauze, heavy absorbency post-op pads, under-bed protectors, drain tracking tools and gloves, to keep your recovery clean and worry free.

Discretion Comes as Standard

Cosmetic surgery is private. Your nurse arrives in plain clothes, care happens in your home or hotel on your schedule, and what you have had done is nobody else’s business. The service is provided under the medical direction of Dr. Andrea Garcia, MD CCFP.

Good to Know Before You Book

These terms apply to every package.

  • Service area and travel fee, our standard service area is Burlington, Oakville and Mississauga. For surgical centre pickups or homes and hotels outside that area, such as downtown Toronto, Yorkville or other parts of the GTA, a flat $100 fee is added to the package price to cover your nurse’s extra travel time and transit costs.
  • Transportation, for clinical safety and liability reasons our nurses do not drive clients in personal vehicles. All transportation, including surgical centre pickup, pharmacy stops and follow up appointments, is booked through your own Uber or Lyft account or a private transport provider. Fares, peak pricing and driver tips are paid by you.
  • Lodging, package rates cover professional nursing care hours only. Hotel rooms, recovery suites, Airbnb bookings, resort fees and any other lodging costs are separate and paid by you directly to the venue. We cannot accept responsibility for lodging reservations or cancellations.

Yes. This service is built only for recovery after cosmetic and plastic surgery. General medical and post-hospital home care is well served by larger nursing agencies across the GTA. We focus on cosmetic recovery so that the care, the timing and the guidance are matched to these procedures specifically.
Which areas do you cover?

Can you drive me home from surgery?
No. For clinical safety and liability reasons our nurses do not drive clients in personal vehicles. Your nurse travels with you in the transport you book, such as your own Uber or Lyft account or a private car service, and supports you during the ride. Fares, peak pricing and driver tips are paid by you.
Can you remove my drains or change my prescriptions?
Anything your surgeon has ordered is followed exactly as written. Procedures that require a physician order are carried out only on your surgeon’s instruction and within your care plan. We will always tell you what sits inside that plan and what needs to go back to your surgical team.
