A hyaluronic acid filler is a gel. It sits where it is placed and adds volume immediately, which is why the change is visible the same day. Sculptra does not work that way. Instead of filling a space, it prompts your own skin to respond, and that response builds collagen in the treated area over the following weeks and months. What you eventually see is largely your own tissue, not the product.
Two honest consequences follow. Sculptra is slow, so anyone promising an immediate result is not describing it accurately.
